VersionCX from Ideqa is an add-in for Oracle Service Cloud (formerly RightNow) that allows you to automatically store historical versions of your knowledge base answers, allowing you to roll back to prior versions at the press of a button.

Updates to answers in your knowledge base can be scheduled to deploy at a future date and time.  No longer will you need to set the alarm to manually push content live – saving time and reducing the risk of your information being published at the wrong time.

VersionCX helps your organisation meet its compliance requirements with a full audit trail showing a record of answer updates.  The VersionCX tab shows when an answer was modified, by whom, and the reason for the change.  The compare feature highlights the text differences between answer versions.  If your answer includes images and hyperlinks, the HTML option will show you updates to those as well.

ALSO GOOD TO KNOW

  • VersionCX preserves the Answer ID for the published version of the answer. Google searches and hard coded URLs will continue to return the correct result.
  • Answer scores are retained. Your most popular answer will retain its score, even after you have published an update to the answer.  This ensures your knowledge base is promoting the right content to your users.
  • Included in the cloud subscription for VersionCX is technical support by email, as well as access to regular updates from Ideqa – ensuring compatibility with Oracle Service Cloud releases.
  • Works with all 33 languages supported by Oracle Service Cloud.
  • Supports all answer types – HTML, File Attachments and URLs.
